据LETC维基编辑部消息，2018年维基百科亚洲月于2018年11月1日至30日在50多个维基在线项目同时进行。
维基百科亚洲月是一个于2015年创办的，每年11月定期举办的线上编辑马拉松活动，旨在增进维基百科亚洲社群互相了解和提升维基百科亚洲相关条目的质量。本届活动为第4届维基百科亚洲月。在之前的3届活动中，有来自超过50个维基项目的2,000位维基编者在亚洲月活动中贡献了逾20,000个条目。
据悉，2018年维基百科亚洲月期间，中文维基百科本地团队共收到307篇活动条目的提报。其中，共有284篇被评审为合格，另外23篇条目因种种原因未能获得认可。在284篇合格条目中，共有21篇条目是以地震为主题的，占所有合格条目的7.4%。
在21篇地震条目中，有17篇条目以历史地震为主题，1篇条目以近期地震为主题，另有3篇条目以亚洲地震学家为主题。具体条目列表如下。
